Nike LD-1000 SP Wmns "Soft Gray" - product description The Nike LD-1000 SP Wmns "Soft Grey" is a legendary model from the Nike archives, first released in 1977 and instantly becoming a cult favorite among runners. The shoe features a dramatically flared heel, originally designed to enhance support for distance runners. After the shoe was discontinued due to safety concerns, the LD-1000 gained even greater customer loyalty, and although it was shelved for decades, it was never forgotten. This women's recreation, in the "Soft Grey" colorway, recaptures one of Nike's most iconic innovations in a modern, safe design. The upper is constructed from a combination of soft suede and leather for durability while also giving it a luxurious, premium look. The colorway features earthy, neutral tones of soft gray/brown, offset by subtle accents like a cream Swoosh logo and bright Safety Orange detailing on the underside of the heel. A foam midsole provides cushioning and support. A rubber outsole with the iconic waffle tread provides excellent traction and highlights the shoe's old-school running style. The LD-1000 is the perfect choice for retro fashion enthusiasts who appreciate Nike's history of innovation, unique silhouettes, and all-day comfort. Don't wait!
